Boston, July 2017, Saba-Insight 2017
Last week hundreds of Saba customers, partners and product experts from around the world gathered in Boston, Massachusetts for the premier annual conference for talent leaders.
It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the latest Saba Innovations and to hear what our customers are doing to advance their talent and learning strategies with Saba.
It was an incredible week for Saba, Bloomville and our customer community. Together we learned so much, got some fantastic ideas to take home with us and left both excited and re-energized. The desire for collaboration and true passion for learning was on full display all week. A fully packed schedule with next practices, tips and advice from some of Saba’s most fearless customers around the globe.
In the final panel session Paige Newcombe, Saba’s Chief Customer Officer, invited some true “Talent Rocks Stars” on stage with her, to share their stories and tell us how they were leveraging Saba technology to transform their organizations – from learning to performance to culture and values:
- Paul van Niekerk (South Africa), General Manager of Technology Solutions for LRMG Performance Agency, used the power of Saba Cloud to create a cultural movement within the organization. He is using recognition to positively transform the way people work and interact with each other, and celebrate employee achievements, all tied to their organizations core values.
- Yvette Birlew (USA), Director of Learning and Development for Sally Beauty (USA-Canada), shared her story of how she used Saba Learning to start a cultural transformation, driving employee engagement and inspiring employees to “THRIVE” through learning and career development. Their next step is reinventing the performance evaluation process, and Yvette previewed an incredible video they’re using to internally engage and excite employees around the next generation of performance management at Sally Beauty.
- Sydney Savion (USA), Chief of Education Strategy for Dell EMC Education Services, talked about finding success by continuously testing and adjusting the way learning is presented and consumed at Dell EMC. By delivering learning in more frequent, bite-sized portions, and transforming employee learning to a more familiar visual and experiental framework, Dell EMC is continuing to evolve the learning experience.
